BUNA-N
BUNA-N – Nitrile Rubber also known as NBR, Buna-N and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber. It is a synthetic rubber copolymer of Acrylonitrile (CAN) and Butadiene. BUNA-N Gaskets are common in many industries.
BUNA-N material will handle most food, dairy, beverage and sanitary services. It is used in the food processing industries, has excellent resistance to compression set, tear and abrasion.
It has good resistance with acid and milk alkali. Can handle most vegetable oil service. It’s has a low cost and lends itself to a be a throw away consumable. Rated at -30° F to 255° F.
BUNA-N Gaskets colors are Black, White, and Blue. This has FDA Compliance.
