They are manufactured using a glass-reinforced, FDA grade, USP Class VI Nylon. Usually used in lower pressure 150 psi or udder applications. Developed for use in both non-metallic and metallic connections. Also, the clamps generally won’t damage or distort non-metallic ferrules. In addition, they are very light weight.
