The enhance™ patented Antimicrobial gaskets, O-Rings and seals are products used to enhance the continuing prevention of biofilm, biofouling, creep, soiling and contamination in sanitary connection seal areas. When used in sanitary manufacturing processes, enhance™ Antimicrobial products have proven to be effective. They control the propagation of bacteria, mold and fungi. The enhance™ technology uses an EPA registered Antimicrobial as an inhibitor. Furthermore, the Antimicrobial is compounded with our elastomers and thoroughly integrated. Also, this forms a complete homogenized product that is permanently embedded with a potent Antimicrobial that has perpetual effectiveness.
enhance™ is a compound that has an Antimicrobial in a carrier, that is added to an elastomer. These are thoroughly homogenized permanently. The carrier acts to firmly hold the Antimicrobial so it can attack the live pollutants from many directions. Through a process of Ion exchange, it prohibits propagation and kills the Microbes.
In nano powder form, it’s blended into elastomers using a specialized compounding process.
