enhance™ antimicrobial patented O-Ring material works by using silver (Ag) Ions exchange. It attacks microbes. This happens on the surface of the O-Ring. The silver ions activate ion-exchange begins and the silver attacks and kills. It is effective against a wide range of bacterial contamination to include Listeria, Salmonella and E. coli.
