Description
Sanitary clamp slit ID gaskets type I are used with Orifice plates, Sox screens and other devices. They are used when you need to insert a devise like a Sox Screen into a Tri-clamp® style gasket. The Plate edge goes into the ID (inner diameter), middle section slit by stretching it around. As the gasket relaxes it gives a snug fit. This gives you Tri-clamp® gasket seal for your Sanitary Tri-clamp® connections. We offer these in BUNA-N, EPDM, FKM and platinum cured Silicone materials. They have the same Material certifications as our regular gaskets of the same materials.
